Yeah, this TV is still good, but since it is the old "curved" style, it is not easy to mount a flat soundbar to a curved TV. Getting older, our hearing ain't what it use to be, so we really need that soundbar.

Between kids and employees i get everything, i also have an autoimmune problem that helps me catch them.
Vizio 5.1 sound bar is 200 or less and by far the best theater sound you will get for less than a grand. I did a crap ton of research on them. I own two and they are awesome. Sound way better than Bose and other expensive ones.
This is a 5.1 Samsung soundbar, but contained all within the one below the TV, and a base on the floor. It was regular $249, on Black Friday was only $170
My last 5.1 (a POLK, Installed by DISH) needed wifi, bluetooth and cables to attach all the speakers surrounding me. I'm too old for that crap. My Bose was wireless and great for music, not so good for TV. I paid $1500 for it, and is now sitting in the junk room to give away. I now have Sonos for music, but their software got changed and only works sometimes. I even got a letter from the CEO of Sonos, saying they apologize for that latest software update, since people are throwing their crap our the door with frustration just trying to listen to music.

I have a Bose and it's pretty good and was only $279. I wouldn't mind upgrading to a better one at some point though.

Mounted TV. Installed sound bar under TV, and for the base box, I tore apart the fireplace console and installed it inside the gap. Got all the wires tucked, and now too tired to watch tv!
