Evening, had a good day, we got the motor out of a 97 F-250, what a pain in the ass. We should get the new motor in Monday.

Dam those usually go pretty easy. Mine was good. Except a little hotter then normal.

This one had been used on a farm and was pretty nasty and rusty.

That usually doesn't help. Hopefully when I pull the motor out of the bronco it goes easy.

If this truck had the removable radiator support it would have been a lot easier.

They come out. It just has about 40 bolts holding them on. 2 bolts through the frame and the rest to the fenders behind the headlights. A couple on top that hold the fenders on. Unless someone messed it up where it can't be removed.

This thing is so used up we probably couldn't get it back together right, easier to wrestle the motor out.

Lol. I see. When I pull my motor I'm pulling the whole front clip. That way I can clean up the engine bay and paint everything that needs it. I replaced the core support a couple years ago so I know that it will come apart pretty easy.
