Question for you guys. I just had my fourth transmission put in my 07 ram. Should I swap out the radiator? It's never been done. I've heard some say it's a good idea after a tranny failure if it's an auto. What do you think?

Three times in the last few years my trans temp light came on after trying to back a heavy trailer up a long driveway. Not sure if reverse makes it run hotter or if it's because I'm sitting still but it's never come on moving forward no matter what I'm towing.

If the work is being done at a quality shop they should be flushing the lines and cooler.

That's my old 3/4 ton. It doesn't have one. When I asked both shops that have built them. Both said it doesn't need it but I would like one. The last shop half assed the build. This shop I believe has done well but only time will tell. I dont tow as much as I used to since I have the dually but I still use it.

It should definitely have one Chris, even my old Ranger has a dedicated cooler.
