BTW, we got our street slurried yesterday by the city. They ordered us to park our cars on an adjacent street, and was suppose to start at 7am. They showed up at noon to work, but the machine broke. They worked on it until 3pm, and got it fixed. The street was slurried and done by 4 pm. They pulled the cones and went home at 5pm, eith the street still wet. My cop buddy drove up the street 50 feet and spun out. We as neighbors decided to tape off and cone the street all night. It is now pouring rain. Anyone know if this rain will help cure the slurry or is it ruined?

It will be fine

Thanks. A few neighbors bitched about not receiving their morning paper, but we removed the cones and caution tape at 0600 and although raining, the street is really nice, unlike the street to the south, which was obviously driven over before the slurry cured.

I figured you went to the funeral.
