He's got a butt on him that looks like he's related to a quarter horse. He's a hoss.
Maybe he is related? I hate that our season ends before the rut. California was the same way.

Hunted Monday and had a average 8pt chasing a doe all around my stand. Did a circle 15' away from me. Seeing deer chase during the rut is entertaining. Had a small 5pt try and chase a doe, he new he was suppose to be doing something, the doe wasn't interested. Going back tomorrow with my son in law and spending the weekend with the entire crew. We picked up a couple really nice ladder stands at Rural King yesterday on sale, need to get them put out somewhere. Man I love this time of year.

The 2 new ones and the existing stands will make about 21 permanent stands on 968 acres. Plus we have a couple climbers. Still seems we never have enough.
Next week I will be pig hunting on 1600 acres owned by a friend. I wish we had leases around here so I could put up permanent stands
