With some therapy (Jack Daniels) we'll get over it...although Havasu had to spend an enormous amount of time in his quiet room. But, all's ok now.

A gravel dump truck ran into the back of a '78 Datsun King Cab Pickup, the bed was completely up against the back of the cab, the seats were torn from the floor board, I had two surgeries AND ALLSTATE clamimed it was our fault for being stopped at a light on a off ramp. It pushed us into the car in front of us that was also stopped!!!
We also filed a civil suit against the driver who in turn sued his employer, Davis Construction.

Mine was exactly the same but an f150 not a dump but it did push my bed and crushed the back of the cab and I hit the guy in front of me. Ripped bolts from my seat and bent the back in a 90 bend. 25k in damage to an 8 year old truck and they wouldn't even total it out because value was 27k and they go with what is cheaper. I told them to just give me the 25k but Allstate wouldnt.

I spent the day hearding cats. Or at least that's what it felt like. Was putting in my pipe across my mormon neighbors property and my father in law, rikrotorhead, his son and his older son and grandson and my drunk buddy dave all wanted to help but none wanted to do the trench work, all wanted to be the boss or run the equipment. Spent more time tracking down my quad and tractors than I did working. Between that and trying to have all these halfwits watch their language and stories about rape, pillaging and booze to my clean mormon neighbors I'm lucky my neighbors still talk to me or let me trench across their property. Took me two years to get this permission and they are doing a good job trying to screw it up.
