I just got home from town, visited a few of my rentals and made my stops at the bank, lowes and a few other places. The Cherry festival is going on in the town next to me so the wife and kids have been there all day. I am going to head out and cut weeds for a few hours. It's a whopping 71 degrees here and sunny.

Been cutting weeds all evening. Got a few acres done and my entire highway frontage which was with a weed wacker so it sucked. Just had dinner and gonna go do a little more til it gets dark. Good thing it doesn't get dark til after 10 here.

Morni,g y'all! 76 at 7:20. I think its another warm one today, guess I better get use to it...

What model tractor do you have Chris? I've been thinking about getting an old Ford 8N for bush hogging down at the deer lease. You can get them cheap around here.

Its a 1948 Ford 8n. Great little tractor. Not the most powerful but gets the job done. I run a tractor supply brush hog behind it. They are easy to work on and cheap. I rebuilt the carb the other day and it took about 20 minutes with a hand made gasket. If you get the 8n try and get one with the 4 speed, that is what I have and it is supposed to be a much better trans, not sure what year it came out I am thinking 46.
