its an 03 with 138k maintenance has all been done by dealer. all service are being providedThe 4.0 is a overhead cam motor and I believe an interference motor. If you don't know what the history is, meaning how it has been taken care of I would shy away from it. Ford has the goofyest cam drive set up there is, one cam is driven off the front of the motor and the other is driven off the back, a very expensive setup when it comes time to replace the cam chains, tensioners and guides.

Howdy Barrie.
It will be, because I'll have over 40 hours in.Howdy Chris, you have to work Monday, is that considered OT?
It will be, because I'll have over 40 hours in.
You still helping Ronnie?
That would be cool, let me know if you do.Yes, he is pretty laid back and understanding of the fact that I don't want a full time job, I will be doing some traveling this summer, might even swing by your area. LOL
That would be cool, let me know if you do.
That's cool. Will do, also going to try and get with Joe in Boston and John in Maryland.
i'll have to find out if the timing chains have been done, i looked on youtube (yikes)It's your call Stephan, if it has been regularly serviced you could get some good miles out of it, they are a good rugged truck. Good luck.
Have fun.Howdy
I've been a little busy. Had the TJ out on a couple trails here, The SHELBY to like four shows in the past month, both Porches out on different 'runs', and now have a new project... "SLIMER" a former drag car, it is a 71 Plymouth Scamp (same car as a Dodge Dart) it made the circuits a few years back, the body is absolutely factory straight, perfect !!! Sits now pretty empty; gauges in an aluminum dash, interior completely stipped, fuel cell in the trunk, dual battery mounts in the trunk, caged, only a drivers 'seat', Narrowed ford 9 Inch with four link, set up for Big Block MOPAR and painted in and out a lime green.
Putting in a 440 dual quad tunnel ram with a 727 auto. I'm going to do what I have to to put it on the street. 'Painless wire Harness', lights, different seats in the front, leave the Alum rear blank off, door panels, interior and such. It is going to stay VERY light weight (for the fun factor) 19-2100 lbs ??... and pushing near 650rwhp... I've been running down parts for about two months, probably take a year to get it all together. Should be a lot of fun on the street and taking it to shows here locally in AZ.
Dropping the top on the SHELBY and taking a cruise up Oak Ceek Canyon tonight to Flagstaff for dinner... so gotta run.
Crazy ass setup isn't it? The shop I am at will not do any work on the chains.i'll have to find out if the timing chains have been done, i looked on youtube (yikes)
