Got a row going against the city. They are trying to get it set where you must hire a master plumber to even change a faucet. Everyone on my Facebook site is pissed at the city. They don't even have a legal plumbing board. City charter says it must have 5 members, it only has 3.
I have enough friends to throw a little weight around.

Nobody hires a plumber here, unless it is a major job. Plumbers want permits, which compounds the cost.

They are trying to make it illegal to do yourself. An old friend who owns about 40 rentals, tried to point out that if he has to hire a plumber to do minor work instead of his handyman, rent will have to go up. Starting for a master plumber is $100.

Here if it's commercial you have to hire a plumber but zoned non commercial you can do it yourself. Its stupid. If you own the property you should be able to do as you please.
