Too smoky to do much outside today. Just took a short walk with the dogs after their breakfast.

I made fried apple and pecan stuffed waffles with my new Presto Stuffler waffle maker
They are actually very tasty! You can use cake mix, pancake mix, regular baking mix, muffin mix, cornbread mix... and use practically any stuffing you can think of. I've made some with blueberries, chocolate chips, and tiny marshmallows and those were awesome. I want to make some with scrambled eggs, cheese, and diced cooked sausage next.

My son and his GF are buying their first house! They have an accepted offer on one in the Capitol Hill area of DC. They just had the inspection yesterday and are working through a few corrections with the current owners. I'm super excited for them!
