Morning all. Covid drove the price up. Every single company whether they needed to or not raised prices. I'd say we are paying almost double on most items we buy. I used to buy cheap trailer tires for 45 bucks a piece, they are 120 now. 4 inch sewer pipe was .85 cents a foot for the last 25 years I've been doing this, it's 4 bucks a foot now. Osb was 7 bucks, now 18. R134a freon was 125 for 30 pounds, hit 800 two years ago still pushing 400 now. A weaned cow calf was 150 bucks, now 1100-1500. A 45 hp farm tractor was 23k new, now 48k. I can go on and on. Most all of these don't need the inflation they have, things like cows shouldn't change that much. Why does a tractor cost almost double. It's all just stupid and our dollar isn't worth 50 cents.
