So wife interfered right before i typed out the last one, her dad was there and had them not give the medication, guess what, she is awake and talking like normal. First time in two days. Night nurse was wondering why day nurse was giving so much medication.

I believe they give too much medication because a sleeping dying person is so much easier to deal with and take care of than an awake dying person that needs tending to.

Hospice killed both my dad and step mom. I can guarantee this. Morphine sedated them. No water or food because of choking hazard. Both died within 5 days of administering morphine.

Now that i see it, thats what they do. They guarantee you die. I dont even think she needs to be on hospice. Heck if they didnt drug her she could probably be home. I guess we will find out. They go from no more iv, food or drink and drugged to awake eating drinking and having full normal conversations.

Thats what ive been asking. Just previous health issues. Wife is looking into that now

Someone here was driving down the road when a utility pole jumped out in front of them. Wonder if we should put up some "pole crossing" signs?

Did you know there is a species of deer that can jump higher than the average house?

Of course, the average house can't jump at all.

Hey Barrie!

We had a constant rain all night, and in fact it is still raining, but the proof is in the level of the pool. I think the level of water rose in the pool about 1/2", which is nothing compared to last week, where my pool level went up 6 inches, and I had to siphon it out to avoid spilling over the sides.

Mother in laws stats are better then they have been in years. Im thinking since she was put on hospice they are trying to kill her. She was awake and doing great for two days then they upped her medication under the guise of comfort. Now she pretty much sleeps all day only wakes up to eat and since she is groggy and slurring they give her more medication. They have no interest in seeing how she does with less medication. They have her on morphine, was as needed now its every three hours, they are also giving adavan which she used to use at home on occasion but every time she took a pill she slept for a day, they are giving her those every three hours to. Im fairly certain since hospice was set up if you arent dying you will be.

They push the drugs for more than one reason.
First, they get to CHARGE a lot for them , more $$$ in their pockets for the drugs and administration of them.
As said previously, When in a drug induced stupor they don't have to spend any time with them, they lay there as a Vegetable. Money saved.
Also they don't have to feed them, no wasted time on food, serving, cleaning up and even fewer dishes to have to wash. saved $$$
The ONLY thing that they assist with is saving themselves time and money all the while Charging more $$$ for drugs.
Then they get even more $$ in prepping and arranging for the body to be transferred $$ and work with a Mortician (probably have an agreement, finders fee with a few) even more $$$....

It is all about the "Benjamins" and taking advantage of the situation with the grieving family, all for a Bottom line under the Premise of "care".... $$$$$$

My 2nd wife's father was hired by a mental institution to teach simple tasks to the mentally handicapped. He said the patients were kept so drugged they could not even respond. The aides kept them that way so they would be easier to ignore.
