I guess some places are doing good. Pittsburg Kansas, pop 21,000, (about 45 miles from here) just announced that they are building 1600 new homes. They will soon be starting the first 450 of them. We have nothing going on here. Pitt State U, their college, has about 6,000 students on a 600 acre campus. It is ranked #88 out of all the colleges in the US.

I bet they get started and lose millions then give up.

Mornin all. Of course, when it decides to be 107 outside, mama's car battery takes a ****. Now I gotta go out in the heat and install a new battery. What is the consensus here? Costco, Wally World, Pep Boys? Who has a good battery these days? We do have a factory Interstate company down the street?

Morning Mark, personally I don't think anyone makes a good long lasting battery anymore, 3-4 years seems to be about normal.

I would try Interstate first and compare prices.

My thinking exactly. I know Costco sells Interstate batteries now, but obviously I have to install it. The interstate business installs them for free, but I won't know the price difference until I call and ask them. They open in 2 hours.

Morning, my experience with Walmart batteries has been spotty. They will also install it though.
