I agree Ken. I did my time. There is not enough money in the world to go back into the workforce. Also, if I did, they would pull my $$ monthly pension away from me, I'd have to pay taxes, fill my gas tank, no range time, and it would be hard to find a boss that understood my afternoon naps are mandatory!

Well that's a start...
They, military, government, corporate world Do Not Have Enough $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get me back to a job.

That was '68, didn't get home until '71.

I actually enjoyed working. I had a job that allowed me freedom to set my schedule, run my jobs, train my roofing crews, and make a decent living. I don't want to work full time, I don't need the money, I don't like not being as active as I use to be. Guess I'll try it, I can always retire again if I don't like it.

I know. I miss working. Went back out and voted. Pissed off at the school board. A girl was told last week that a T shirt that said "God's Country" was offensive.

Evening all. I would love to be done working. I enjoy building my company up or buying new toys anyway but I am so done with working with people and for people, they all suck.

Brought the new to me dump truck home. It's an 86 with 50k original miles, was city owned. Runs like new but ugly. I'm up to 5 dump trucks now. This one is so low geared it only does 50 mph in tenth gear. No wonder why it was only used for 50k, took them 40 years to get there.

That truck only has 10. Maybe that's the problem? I have a 9 speed that will do 75, a 13 speed that will do white knuckle and a 15 speed that will do whatever you give it.

I could have fired my whole crew this morning, 7:30 is start time. At 730 had two guys out of 7 on the job. One was working the other smoking next to his truck. 740 the others show up. I yell at all of them. Guy who was smoking says " I was here on time" I then had to give a lecture on what is show up time and what is start time. I'm over this crap.
