There was a perfect alternative to you doing that.
I recall someone offering to take/buy the CJ from you and that would be happy to do a frame off and all up restoration on it! Media blast and all. COMPLLETELY... and not 5-10 years to do it.
That 'person' has the skillz, shop space, all the tools to do it and the time.
Why not?
...have eleven vehicles, one simple Jeep project wouldn't be an issue. Just make an even dozen... 12 is a good number, it would be really happy here with three other Jeeps already here and a nice RZR to talk to !!!!!
And nothing here to give it Cancer, no rust, an indoor parking area, no Snow, salt, very little rain....
