Morning all, wish it would rain here, it's been 100 plus for two weeks now. It's getting old. Gonna be 100 all week to. This is not normal here. We generally hit 100 a few times a year.
Good morning all. I woke up feeling great. Something must be wrong?
Good idea!
Ac is almost done. Power killed me yesterday, its a 70 foot run using flex and I could not for the life of me get wire pulled through, ended up tearing it out laying flat on the road to get the wire through then reinstall in 105 degree weather. It was like a sauna in the attic crawl space, I bet I sweat out a gallon. It's all hung now just need to connect the refrigerant lines vacume and charge. Hopefully it all goes well.
I was wondering, I even looked for a "last post wins" thread.Yes, you posted your "good night post" on the media thread. I moved it to the last post wins, but then realized the thread was called "the last person to post wins", I moved it there. I don't play with the controls for moving often, so being a bit rusty Rusty, I thought I'd practice on your post.
Required a 20 amp, with 30 amp max. I did a 30 because the ac disconnect is a 30 and it was easier. Only Required 12 awg wire with the 20 and 10 awg with the 30. Super simple to install. Only thing you will need is a vacuum pump before you open the valves. Mine is a 24k unit and is rated for 1500 sf. I've had it running a couple hours and it's nice and cool in here.Chris, what amp breaker does it need? Take pics, as I want to install one as well. I know the refrigerant is pre-loaded, but us laymen have one chance to seal up both sides. If not, you have to suck everything out, then recharge?
