I did my drywall patch. I feathered 3' and looked almost perfect. The ol lady said it looked like shit, so I sanded the mud all off, and spent another 4 hours patching, priming, texturing and 3 coats of paint. The old lady said it looks like shit. Well, go ahead, call in a professional, she will have to prime and paint. I'm not lifting a muscle. Oh, im not paying for it either. Can't please 'em, can't kill 'em!

I would just say, 'Fuck it'... and then nail a damn piece of ratty old plywood over it, forever!

OR

Glue a mirror over it. Then if she says "it looks like shit", just say it looks fine "when I look in it" !

Hey Barrie, 12 here WC -1 and snow. How is it there?

It was 82 yesterday. I cooked a 4 pound tri tip on the BBQ yesterday. I coated it with a nice tri tip rub. Seared all sides for 5 minutes each side, then turned off 3 of the 5 burners and let it rest at 450 degrees on the off burner side for 20 minutes. Holy crap, it was delicious!
