Wife took my dually to the tire shop for a rotation. They broke one of the hubcaps and then told her it was because it's so cold out and that they will try to be careful on the next one. Oh and that they are not responsible for it because its the weather. I told her to let them know that if there is a temperature cut off for doing tire rotations they should have told us they cant do it and not just do it and break things

That is one totally lame excuse.

Wife is still there, they just came and told her that hubcaps are a wear item that should be changed every so often.

My 94 Ford van has my 1985 hubcaps on it and they are fine. Probably want to change the blinker fluid next.

Just got a call that I'm getting a new hubcap

What the hell is a hubcap? I haven't seen one in about 30 years.
They come on most new cars, when you think you got chrome wheels, it's really just a well made hubcap. My charger with chrome wheels were fancy steel wheels with a thin formed chrome hubcap, you couldn't tell until you took the tire off.

You know what chaps my hide. Driving 20 minutes to the parts store and 20 minutes back, filling my 39 dollar hydraulic filter with oil and going to put it on and its the wrong one. 40 bucks and an hour wasted
