I pitched a bitch about the faulty backup camera I bought, they sent a whole new unit. I started reading on the dodge ram forum about where to pickup power for the mirror under the dash. Found a thread about splicing into the backup light itself will cause distortation in the mirror, same issue I was having. So, I spliced into the pin in the trailer hitch and guess what, it works. The reason is power fluxation on the circuit to the lights. The hitch pin has a cleaner power signature.

My delimea, what to do with the new unit, send it back, keep it for spare, give it away

OR,
Sell it to some dissabled Vet on a fixed income for a 'reasonable' cost plus shipping !!!
