My windshield has seen better days. Is it that hard to do yourself or should I just have it done professionally? What tools would I need to accomplish this task?

It's worth it. Keep a spray bottle of water handy though to keep the flames down. It's excellent though I always did bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños.
